Women Empowerment Initiative was winner of the "LVMH Inclusion Index Award"
MHD Moët Hennessy Diageo Japan is proud to announce that Women Empowerment initiative was recognized as a winner of the LVMH Inclusion Index Award, a key pillar of the Group’s Diversity and Inclusion strategy. The Index was launched in 2018 to measure and stimulate initiatives by LVMH and its Maisons to achieve better gender balance within the Group and to support the professional growth of women in all roles at every level of the organization. More than 148 projects promoting gender equality were reported in 2020; seven were selected by their social impact, efficiency, and innovative approach. The projects follow the seven United Nations Women’s Empowerment Principles (WEP), which LVMH endorsed in 2013. The Inclusion Index has since broadened the scope to include initiatives related to inclusion of the LGBTI community.
MHD Moët Hennessy Diageo Japan will continue to focus on activities that support women's leadership and careers, gender equality and diversity inclusion for a sustainable future.
