Just after being launched as a regular member of Lagavulin Family, Lagavulin 8 year old has beaten out all of malts competition and won the Chairman’s Trophy for Best Islay Single Malt in this year’s Ultimate Spirits Challenge! In addition to being named the overall Islay Malt category winner, it was awarded 97 points (highest score across all single malt and broader whisky categories) and was highlighted as a “Great Value”.
